It is a dynamic time to be in the food space. There are so many avenues of information that consumers and decision makers face more "information" than there is time to process it. Food producers have to cut through all the noise to build trust in what they do, understanding of what they offer and support for initiatives that will improve their working environment.
The Saskatchewan Cattlemen's Association (SCA) needs a communications specialist that can take charge of facing these challenges. Developing SCA's voice, in print, video and digital and taking that voice forward to an increasingly fragmented audience is the job. We need an experienced communications manager to help the board and staff deliver the messages to the right people in the right way at the right time.
This person can do layout using programs like InDesign. They know how to craft press releases that get pickup. They can shoot and edit video and post it to the right internet based outlets to maximize audience and engagement. They have an eye for creative that will engage people at trade shows, online and in hard copy as good old fashioned direct mail. They will craft our family of communications pieces to be an effective suite of material.
SCA is based in Regina and we need a team player to join us in the office. We are located downtown, a short walk from the Cornwall and the Legislature. This is a great job working for great people doing something that the world needs, producing high quality, delicious protein that comes in a calorie wise, nutrient dense package: beef!
