The Saskatchewan Prevention Institute is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Sexual and Reproductive Health Program Coordinator. The position is located in Saskatoon, SK.
The Saskatchewan Prevention Institute is a provincial non-profit organization; our goal is healthy children. The Institute works to prevent disabling conditions in children through primary prevention. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the Sexual and Reproductive Health Program. The Coordinator will promote emergent current best evidence in sexual and reproductive health, as it relates to the prevention of disabling conditions in the preconception and prenatal periods. The Coordinator will be responsible for applying current evidence and best practices in decision making, resource development, and trainings; preparing reports for funders and others; preparing proposals for special projects; developing work plans; and monitoring the budget. The Coordinator will collaborate with other agencies and professionals working in the area of sexual and reproductive health in the province. The Coordinator will carry out these responsibilities in consultation and collaboration with the Institute team.
