Description

Canpotex is currently seeking a Manager, Strategy (19-25) to join the Strategy and Sales Administration team in our Saskatoon office.
Reporting to the Vice President, Strategy and Sales Administration, you are responsible for leading the strategy team towards executing senior level market, financial and strategy research and analysis required to support the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of a multi-year strategic plan.
You are a relationship builder who is able to collaborate with business partners across the organization to collect, analyze, and translate market, operational and financial information into tangible strategies, reports and measurement.  You lead and support the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of organizational strategic plans, including measurement of strategic and corporate objectives. You perform in-depth industry research and complex analysis; monitor industry trends and interpret potential implications.
You lead and manage the strategy team toward achieving organizational, department and individual objectives. You create a team environment which fosters and develops high performance, while providing consistent communication and feedback, coaching, mentoring and motivation for employees.
You have a bachelors degree in business, finance and economics and five to seven years of progressive corporate experience across marketing, analytics, finance, and/or strategy disciplines. A Masters degree would be considered an asset. You are able to demonstrate critical thinking skills, including conceptualizing, analyzing, synthesizing, and evaluating information to continually improve processes. You have expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, with particular emphasis on spreadsheet model development and you demonstrate the ability to uphold the highest degree of ethics and integrity.
