ABOUT US
Industrial Scale Ltd. (ISL) has been providing sales and service of weighing equipment since
1978. The products that we sell and service range from small laboratory balances to truck and
railroad scales, along with everything in between.
Responsibilities:
Penetrating new accounts and maintaining existing key accounts in the Saskatoon, SK and surrounding area
Planning and scheduling selling time to cover the assigned territory
Provide regular forecasting and sales pipeline updates to Sales Manager
Creating sales quotations
Negotiating and closing sales opportunities
Assisting with Project Management
Pre and Post Sale follow-up
Participating in trade shows
Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities, experience):
You are confident, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining business relationships though all customer touch points
Great work ethic - able to work with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills (demonstrated by your ability to handle multiple priorities, problem solve, and meet deadlines or targets)
Outstanding verbal and creative written communications skills, with an eye for detail and great listening skills to be able clearly understand customers needs
Strong at sales prospecting with new and existing clients
Basic computer skills
Requirements:
Degree or diploma supported by proven sales experience is desired. High school diploma is a minimum requirement with 1-3 years relevant/ equivalent work experience
Experience with providing proposals, sales contracts and other documents
Ability to travel on occasion for 1 week at a time (to cover rural areas)
Valid drivers license with strong driving record
