Job Description: Reporting to the Director, Clinical Research the Research Officer is responsible for designing and conducting research projects and evaluations of
Agency programs and services and to conduct surveillance activities of cancer for Saskatchewan.
Master's Degree in Science, Health, Epidemiology, or related field.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Communication skills are required to develop and present complex information including written documentation and verbal presentations to audiences with varying levels of comprehension ability.
Competent in use of a variety of software.
Comprehensive knowledge of statistical analysis, research and program evaluation methodologies and epidemiology.
Human relations skills required to ensure compliance and promote acceptance through negotiating with staff and suppliers where there is a requirement to resolve the conflict or situation.
Initiative and independent judgment required to solve complex problems seeking national and international expert advice when required.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
Hours of Work: 108.78 hours per 3 week rotation
Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 16:30
