Job Description: Provides nursing care to patients with orthopaedic injuries/conditions through the
application, adjustment and removal of a variety of immobilization devices.
Required Qualifications

Practical Nursing diploma plus Advanced Education in Orthopaedics certificate
Licensed with Saskatchewan Association of Licensed Practical Nurses with Orthopaedic Specialty endorsement
Experience
Previous: Twelve (12) months previous experience working in an acute care setting to
consolidate knowledge and skills.

Communication skills
Ability to work independently

Licensed Practical Nursing Certificate/Diploma plus Advanced Education in Orthopaedics Certificate required. Previous 2 years experience working in this specialty in an acute care setting required.

Successful applicant must provide a satisfactory valid Criminal Record Check (which may include a vulnerable sector query) before an Offer of Employment is made.

216 hours in a 6 week rotation. Shifts (days, evenings, nights) including actual hours, date of commencement and temporary end dates are for informational purpose only and may be subject to change.
