The Project Services Coordinator will provide technical support to the team through the next phases of development and work with the Project Manager to ensure budgeting, scheduling and coordination runs smoothly. You will monitor project progress to ensure it is working within set deadlines and budget limitations and generate progress reports. The work will include monthly & quarterly cost forecasting & control, contract administration, schedule management, data management.
Post-secondary degree in commerce, business, engineering, construction management or project management
3-5 years relevant work experience (resource/industrial construction industry);uranium industry highly desired

Understanding of project controls, project execution processes including:
oFront-End-Loading, Stage Gate Review
oProject accounting (invoicing, A/R, A/P, accruals)
oContract management for project delivery contracts (consultants, materials supply, site contractors, secondments)
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project an asset
Experience with Great Plains business accounting software an asset
Membership or Membership Eligibility to AACE or PMI an asset
Excellent communication skills; write clear and concise reports
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate with contractors, project team to complete monthly project accounting reports, quarterly & annual forecasting
Manage project progress data, report on cost performance, schedule performance to baselines. Compare data to predict potential cost over runs/under runs
Provide contract administration including tender documentation, ROP, addendums, bid opening, evaluation, awards, meetings, change management, financial reporting, closeout
Maintain monthly project schedule; coordinate with team, make schedule forecasts to foresee problems
Maintain, enforce project change management system and project risk register
Assist in drafting the Project economic evaluations
