Description

Operations
Assist in managing the daily operational resources (human, physical, financial) of the frontstore
Interface with other departments to ensure achievement of store objectives.
Work with FSM to maintain balanced inventory.
Work with FSM to ensure pricing and signing of merchandise is correct.
Act as manager on duty in absence of FSM.
Responsible for maintaining systems and procedures related to cash handling, processing and management
Responsible for Front End coverage and merchandising areas as designated by the FSM
Assist management team in ongoing performance management and employee development
Assist in achieving projected sales growthtargets
Assist in effective expense management according to established yearly projection.
Assist the FSM in adherence to all marketing programs and initiatives, which may include:
Retail price management
Planograms, core programs, and merchandisingtechniques
Flyer implementation and local advertising initiatives
Create and maintain proper displays to reflect seasonal and promotional programs. Ensure value events are set
up and taken down according to schedule
Maintain store image standards as outlined in the Operating Standards.
Work with FSM to ensure signage in the store reflects current programs, policies, and procedures.
Able to order inventory in absence of FSM
Assist in the hiring process (recommend to FSM)
Ensure staff is properly trained in all aspects of their role. Give on-going coaching and instructions.
Assist in performance management including performance reviews, progressive discipline with FSM.
Ensure employees comply with all policies and procedures
