Description

Main Function:
Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the effective utilization of people, materials, equipment and manufacturing processes within the assigned department to meet safety, production schedule, quality, inventory, cost and delivery objectives.

Responsibilities:
Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to and enforcing CNH safety programs, policies and regulations.
Supervises and directs hourly employees in the production of parts, components and finished products to meet established productivity targets.
Producing quality parts and finished goods that meet established quality goals.
Administers operating budgets and monitors results to assure departmental objectives are achieved.
Maintain required levels of inventory and develop and implement corrective action plans when required.
Perform continuous improvement activities aimed at improving safety, efficiency, quality and costs.
Human resource activities such as employee selection, pay administration, employee counseling, training, performance reviews, discipline for hourly employees, and the administration of policies and agreements.
Monitors and coordinates the maintenance of equipment in department to meet work schedule.
Administers and facilitates time standards in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering to maintain fair and proper standards throughout department.

Qualifications:
Post - Secondary education majoring in Business. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
Previous supervision and leadership experience is an asset.
Cross functional experience in manufacturing will be considered and asset.
Strong organization skills, self-motivated and the ability to multitask.
Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
