Description

Responsibilities include:

A. Reviewing contractual requirements for all subcontractors, ensuring compliance and resolving issues if/when required.
i. Planning, organizing, coordinating, prioritizing, and evaluating the work of subcontractors.
B. Meeting with customers to understand the scope of work, preparing quotes/estimates or RFP/RFQ packages for tendering, scheduling work, holding pre-work start-up meetings.
C. Communicating and coordinating work requests (both contractual and AWR) with subcontractors and tracking the project through its lifecycle, confirming that deliverables are met on time, on budget and within scope.
i. Tracking project costs against tasking authorization (626s) funding approvals to ensure costs stay within approved values.
ii. Meeting with and ensuring that all parties are aware of the status of the project
          iii. Troubleshooting issues and ensuring timely solutions if required.
D. Handling a wide variety of projects concurrently.
E. Participating in inspections and audits (buildings, overall site, DND, subcontractors), reporting and following up on findings.
F. Creating purchase requests (PR) for approval when required (i.e. New subcontractor, new change order, additional funding to be added, etc.).
G. Financial tracking of departmental Purchase Orders.
H. Invoice coding and tracking for all Change Orders, AWR's, and overhead expenses, etc.
I. Providing oversite with the Food Services program (menu approvals, meal substitutes, non-compliances, quality control, etc.). The direct liaison for the client in most interactions with this Change Order.
