Description

The Logistics Group Lead reports to the Aircraft Fleet Maintenance Manager (AFM) and is responsible for all warehousing and logistical requirements of the Accredited Maintenance Organization (AMO) in accordance with approved procedures.  Responsibilities include supervising shipping and receiving, warehousing and distribution of parts and supplies (including explosives); managing export control; and responsibility for tool control and ground support equipment (GSE) requirements.  Accountable for the financial, quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) aspects of their area of responsibility.

Primary responsibilities include:
Supervise shipping, receiving, warehousing and distribution functions for Moose Jaw and Cold Lake, with both in-scope and out-of-scope employees, including export control and customs requirements when needed.
Supervise the tool control function, including the management of calibrated tools and other special consideration items including inspection cycles and provisioning of special order supplies.
Supervise the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) maintenance and support, including the management of the inspection cycles and preventative maintenance program.
Administrative duties including procedure and process review and amendment, internal auditing, QHSE policy compliance, and external vendor / internal stakeholder meetings.

Other required training or skills
Comprehensive knowledge of, and skilled in:
Computer literate with competency in SAP, MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint,
Budget management; and
Office operations;
Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
High attention to detail
Ability to display professionalism in all relationships and interactions
Discretion and confidentiality is key for this position
Must be a self starter
