Parts Person Management
We are seeking a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Parts Manager at an Agricultural dealership.
Purpose of the position
Manage all aspect of the parts department. Manage a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department and over the counter customers. Work with vendors to maintain the best pricing and discounts.
Key Responsibilities
3+ years experience in Parts Department Operations
Ability to read and interpret parts and machine schematics.
Strong time management, planning and multi-tasking
Strong computer skills including all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Oversee Parts Department marketing plan.
Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
Reviews all paper work for completeness and accuracy.
Ensures all ordering is completed in a timely and cost effective manner.
Maintains an accurate parts inventory control system that includes an annual physical inventory.
Works with Service and Sales Department ensuring all parts are handled properly.
Ability to understand financial principles relative to Parts Department operations.
Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
Excellent customer service skills
Ensures showroom is merchandised properly; maintaining that display(s) and product(s) and product area is clean, organized and priced
