Description

Prince Albert Alarm Systems is looking for a Qualified Combined CCTV Technician, Alarm installer and Access Control Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:
    Perform installations including cabling, mounting and network setups
    Installing and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms.
    Diagnose and repair installation issues or alarm troubles
    Train clients and ensure complete functionality of all systems
    Secure and Retain Video Clips for client
    Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all clients
    Maintain a consistent commitment to following best practices in all safety procedures
    Read blueprints and schematic drawings
    IP & Analog Camera Installation
    Design camera or security alarm systems
Qualifications:
    2 + years experience with CCTV, Access Control, DSC, Honeywell, Interlogix, Kantech ect.
    Knowledge of computers and networking
    Post-secondary training in electronics or equivalent would be considered an asset
    Certification in low voltage would be considered an asset
    Knowledge of ULC and or CANASA standards would be an asset
    Comfortable with working at heights using extension ladders and aerial lifts
    Familiarity installing and troubleshooting electrified door hardware a plus
    Proficient computer skills
    Excellent people skills, communication skills and self-management skills
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Honesty, integrity and a genuine desire to help clients
    Follow customer specific procedures for documentation or notification as described in Customer Notes, Service Ticket, or Installation Documentation.
    Ability to work under pressure and adapt to unexpected circumstances
    Ability to work independently
    Ability to Travel
    Valid Saskatchewan Driver's Licence
    Must provide criminal record check and driver's abstract
Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience.
