The successful candidate will work a term of approximately four months (May to August).
Working with the compliance and licensing group at the corporate office in Saskatoon, you will be responsible for conducting research on various environmental topics such as aquatic toxicity and environmental regulations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for collecting high-quality data, interpreting laboratory analytical results, and preparing technical memos.
This position is located in Saskatoon with occasional trips to the northern Saskatchewan sites.
Education and Qualifications
You will be entering your third or fourth year as a university student specializing in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, natural sciences or a related field. You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.
Field experience is an asset and travel to Camecos northern operations may be required. The successful candidate must hold a valid drivers license and completion of an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) safety course in an asset. The ability to meet tight deadlines, working independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team environment are essential. Excellent communication and organization skills are required.
Interviews will take place in February/March 2020. Students will be notified if they are selected for an interview.
