Position and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work a term approximately four months (May to August). This is a field-based position that will be based at one of Camecos exploration camps.
Be an integral member of Camecos exploration team, striving to bring the multiple benefits of nuclear energy to the world, by finding the next generation of uranium deposits. Help us discover tomorrows energy today.
You will assist the team with various aspects of exploration, including core sampling, logging, field-oriented data collection, database management, flagging the position of drill trails and drill holes, and other duties associated with drill programs that may be assigned. You will also assist with a variety of special projects and other day-to-day activities.
Education and Qualifications
You will be entering your third or fourth year as a university student in geology (or a related science) and are looking for exciting hands-on experience in an innovative exploration environment. You must possess a valid Class 5 drivers license, as the operation of company vehicles will be required on occasion. You are a dedicated team member with excellent communication and organization skills.
Preference will be given to residents of Saskatchewans north (RSN) pursuing post-secondary education.
Interviews will take place in February/March 2020. Students will be notified if they are selected for an interview.
