Northern SK Site
Position and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work a term of approximately four months (May to August).
You will assist with inspections, water sampling and sample preparation, data entry and review, as well as participate in special projects and other day-to-day activities. Duties include a blend of field and office work, with the majority of time spent in the field.
Education and Qualifications
You are currently enrolled in a science-based post-secondary education program and possess good communication and computer skills. You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco.
You will work a rotational schedule commuting to the site by aircraft.
Cigar Lake and Rabbit Lake summer student positions are designated for Athabasca Residents in accordance with the YaThi Nn collaboration agreement.
Interviews will take place in February/March 2020. Students will be notified if they are selected for an interview.
