Visionpool Business Services is hiring a Solution Architect with a broad based background of technical experience to be part of the Solutions & Architecture team to provide Information Technology solutions to business problems

Qualifications:
Experience leading solution selection, design and implementation as part of a project team
Practical experience communicating technical concepts to the business and project teams
Experience working closely with business to solve technical and process problems
Experience working in a utility or engineering industry
Experience with project management and change management methodologies
Demonstrated experience with multiple architecture methodologies and an ability to compare them.  Demonstrated knowledge of a wide variety of technologies and how they are implemented
Have received formal training in a recognized IT design methodology and have experience implementing that methodology on an IT design engagement
Demonstrated expert knowledge of at least one major architecture methodology
Demonstrated experience and expertise through multiple projects in architecting solutions
Demonstrated experience applying current knowledge of key trends in one or more implemented solutions (integrations, data management, and technical governance)
Completion of at least one formal training course in soft skills: presentations, services engagement or project updates to the customer is considered an asset
Completion at least one formal course in project management is considered an asset
Canadian federal, provincial, municipal government work
Government of Saskatchewan / Utilities work
Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
TOGAF 8 or higher
