Job Description: The Psychologist functions as a senior clinical psychologist providing leadership for program development and evaluation for clients in long term, forensic/correctional and geriatric in-patient units.

The Psychologist works under the direction of the Chief Psychologist, Director of Forensic Services, Saskatchewan Hospital.
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Psychology
Eligibility for full practice licensure with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists with an Authorized Practice Endorsement
Minimum of two (2) years experience in a clinical psychology position
Valid Class 5 Drivers License

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of Saskatchewan human services systems and programs preferred.
Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Mental Health Services Act, the Child and Family Services Act, the Youth Criminal Justice Act, and Criminal Code preferred.
Knowledge of fitness/NCR assessments and Saskatchewan Review Board preferred.
Expected Start Date: December 16, 2019
Expected Up To Date: December 18, 2020
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: In a 3 week rotation: 14 shifts of 8.00 hours
