Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for administration of the office and staff, preparation of monthly reports and provide
management with appropriate analysis. Responsible for the companys compliance of all
finance related government regulations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
To ensure prompt financial and operational records, payments and analysis for the
owners by administrating the bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts
receivable.
Responsible to see that all government reports and payments are submitted on time.
Responsible to provide financial planning and alternatives for management
consideration.
To review office and administration procedures for areas of improvement.
Responsible to deal with financial institutions, outside accounts and insurance agents.
Responsible to maintain current licensing on all trucks and trailers.
Maintain line of credit within approved amounts.
Management of WCB group benefit claims.

Specific Skills:
Proficiency using Quickbooks is a prerequisite
Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control
General ledger maintenance
Bank reconciliation
PST/GST filings
Payroll administration
Ability to read and write English as well as to understand complex verbal and written
instructions in English
Tight deadlines
Fast-paced environment
Being a Team player is a must
