St. Pauls Hospital (SPH) is recruiting for the position of Executive Director.

SPH is a Catholic faith-based hospital, owned by Emmanuel Health. St. Pauls Hospital is proud to serve the health needs of Saskatoon and surrounding communities.  

Reporting to the CEO of Emmanuel Health, the Executive Director will be accountable for leadership of this mission-driven organization and will have the authority, and be responsible, for the overall management of SPH Inc., and the services and programs it operates, including ensuring their effective and efficient operation.

The Executive Director manages and operates the organization in conformity with the Health Ethics Guide as approved by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops; provides leadership to ensure the mission and values are integrated within the hospital and the programs and services it operates. The Executive Director will have a clear mandate to lead and manage change aimed at delivering excellence in health care services within the functions and programs of SPH.  The Executive Director provides leadership for Emmanuel Health initiatives, as delegated by the Emmanuel Health CEO.

The successful candidate will possess a combination of relevant educational qualifications and leadership experience, including creating a people-centered organizational culture.  Experience in an executive role, working in an acute or long-term care sector and a professional designation are definite assets.
