Description

This position will work as part of the Finance and Payroll team, based at the All Nations Healing Hospital located in Fort Qu'Appelle, SK.  

Under the direction of Finance Manager and Human Resource Manager, the Payroll/Finance Clerk performs data entry to facilitate the processing of payroll and benefits and assists with a variety of accounting and clerical duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Maintain departmental records
    Weekly payroll data entry
    Reviews payroll related GL accounts within ACCPAC;
    Performs accurate data entry on computerized payroll system;
    Maintains & organizes employee benefit data;
    Maintaining filing systems and employee records;
    Month-end reconciliations;
    Responsible for the administration of Accounts Receivable and Payable
    Opens and sorts incoming mail;
    Other general administrative duties including occasional support to services across the facility.

QUALIFICATIONS:
    Diploma in Administration/Accounting;
    Knowledge and experience in the interpretation of collective agreements;
    Minimum of 2 years experience working with 3sHealth payroll and benefits system;
    Proficient knowledge in ACCPAC for Windows;
    Dependability and demonstrated ability to work in a confidential environment;
    Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills;
    Ability to work independently;
    Proficient working knowledge of various software programs (i.e. Word, Excel, Access);
    Ability to learn new skills and to multitask;
    Knowledge of First Nations culture and traditions.

Hours of Work:     Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (7.5 hrs. /day)
