Reporting to the Director, Giving, the Major Gifts Officer is a member of the Advancement team that provides program leadership, gift and sponsorship solicitation strategies, proposal development and donor cultivation activities to encourage major gifts and planned giving.
The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the solicitation and procurement of donations and sponsorships with a minimum value of $5,000, and advancing Saskatchewan Polytechnics major gifts program. The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for securing a minimum of $500,000 per year in commitments once established in an appropriate portfolio. Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel.
