Facility: WEYBURN MENTAL HEALTH / PUBLIC HEALTH
Job Description: Reporting to the Regional Manager of Public Health, a Dental Health Coordinator, as part of the public health team, is primarily responsible for assessing the oral health needs of the community.  Under the guidance of the Regional Manager, Public Health and the Medical Health Officer, this position is also responsible for coordinating, planning, implementing and evaluating population based, oral health programs which are directed towards health promotion and disease prevention. As a member of the Dental Health Coordination Working Group of Saskatchewan, the Dental Health Coordinator is also involved in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of province-wide oral health programs.
Required Qualifications

Valid Class 5 driver's license
Dental Therapy Diploma
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Dental Therapists Association
Experience
Some related experience which includes experience in health promotion and health education is an asset but not required.
