6-month Contract Position: Community Program Coordinator
80% Full time equivalent (somewhat flexible hours) January  June 2019

CFS is seeking an energetic, flexible, knowledgeable, skilled individual able to work with a diverse clientele as a Community Program Coordinator.

Position Purpose: Develops and delivers programming for youth that fits the identified needs of the community.

With the support of and in consultation with the Director of Family & Community Programs, the duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Identifying and determining community needs
Developing and delivering programming to fit
  the identified needs of the community
Coordinating, facilitating, evaluating
  service
  delivery
Writing reports and contributing to grants as
  required
Operates within the program budget
Serving on community committees and
  partnering with other community agencies and
  groups
Connecting, building and nurturing
  relationships with community stakeholders
Working in cooperation and collaborating with
  other Saskatoon Community Service Village
  Partners.

Qualifications
A Bachelors Degree in social work, psychology, or other related field.
Demonstrated strong ethical conduct and
  professional integrity.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships
  with stakeholders and community partners.
Knowledge must include theories and practices
  of counselling, and may cover family therapy;
  attachment theory; strength-based perspective
  child development; human development;
  behaviour; change; communication; marital and
  family therapy; crisis intervention; trauma;
  addictions counselling and treatment; therapy
  for abuse survivors; and conflict resolution.
Knowledge and experience with issues relating
  to Newcomers and Aboriginal groups.
A valid drivers license and vehicle
