Overview:
The Pharmacy Department Head will provide prompt, courteous and confidential customer service and maintenance of the dispensary under supervision of the Pharmacy Manager.
Highlights:
Greet and provide immediate service to customers at the prescription counter or cash till area;
Ring in all prescriptions and any OTC medications for customers;
Answer the telephone promptly, provide general information, and refer medical questions to the Pharmacist;
Maintain Patient confidentiality;
Ensure cleanliness of OTC section, dispensary and counters;
Ensure cleanliness of Blood Pressure machine and adequate stock of Log Books;
Working under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, complete delegated tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Ability to work under minimal supervision;
Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive information;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Excellent customer service skills;
Previous retail experience an asset.
