Touchwood Child and Family Services Inc. requires Prevention Services Workers for the Prevention Services Program. We're looking for 2 workers for George Gordon FN, 2 for Kawacatoose FN, 2 for Muskowekwan FN, 2 for Pasqua FN and 1 for Daystar FN. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of prevention and intervention programs/plans for all First Nations members, and will report directly to the Prevention Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to investigate, assess and identify risks and develop an action plan
- Knowledge of First Nation culture and language as well as the political and social objectives of Touchwood Child and Family Services Inc. member First Nations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop and establish a trusting and strong working relationship with staff, clientele, First Nation communities, interest groups and other agencies.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when required.
- Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Drivers Licence and submit to a criminal record/vulnerable sector check.
-experience in delivery of services in a First Nations community is required.
