Founded in 1998 d3h Hotels owns and operates 13 hotels across Alberta and Saskatchewan. We are seeking a Director of Sales in our Saskatoon Head Office. You will provide leadership and coordination to the d3h Hotels Sales Team. You must have proven sales and management experience. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills. The incumbent will consistently demonstrate a high level of drive, determination, and commitment. You must be an excellent communicator and team player with a positive and confident attitude.
Position Duties:
Providing guidance and sales leadership/mentorship to the d3h sales team. Expand the awareness of d3h hotels in the marketplace to develop future and repeat business. Researching markets for business opportunities. Work with hotel managers and sales team to provide excellent service to our clients. Provide feedback to managers and Head office regarding sales. Build strategic relationships with key accounts and stakeholders to encourage repeat and recurring business. Demonstrate strong leadership abilities while managing a team of 3-5 people. Keep in frequent communication with hotel managers to accurately reflect their current and future needs. Securing contracts and providing acute customer service with the fostering of the account. Seeking new leads and opportunities for business through inquires, observations in local market as well as participation in marketing directives such as trade shows or sales events, etc. Effectively utilize technology such as Microsoft 360 and SalesForce to organize and report data. Educate account holders on the various programs offered by d3h Hotels.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years Sales and Leadership experience. Hotel industry experience. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
