HVAC Technician
Job Summary
Summerhill Group is looking for a licensed HVAC Technician to help deliver a Pilot Program between January and April. Technicians will walk through homes identifying energy savings opportunities and installing basic energy conservation products (smart thermostats, LED lightbulbs, showerheads and aerators, and power strips). You will utilize an iPad with proprietary software to catalogue and explain energy efficiency opportunities to residents.
Technicians will need to cover either Saskatoon or Regina and their surrounding areas with their own vehicle. The successful applicant will need to be comfortable speaking with others; be courteous, reliable and professional.
Job Responsibilities
Educate customers on energy efficiency & conservation (training and guides will be provided)
Collect customer & home energy data
Install energy-efficient products in the home
Provide friendly & professional customer service
Report regularly to the local Program Manager
Track installations & inventory
Adhere to all provincial Health and Safety regulations and protocols
Job Qualifications/ Requirements
G1 or G2 HVAC certification
Experience within the HVAC industry
Experience installing Nest & Ecobee Smart Thermostats an advantage
Strong interpersonal skills; Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Full class drivers license, vehicle & clean driving record
