Pineland Co-op is hiring a Hardware Manager at our Home Centre location in Nipawin, Sk.

What youll do:
Manage the development and direction of the operational team to drive the growth of revenue and productivity
Engage and interact with guests to create a positive experience  in person and on the telephone
Effectively and efficiently manage the development and direction of the reporting team members
Ensuring high quality guest service is delivered to internal and external guests at all times
Budget, administer and be responsible for the sales, margins, expenses, inventory and sales per employee hour for the Hardware Department
Ensure the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard.  This includes orderly displays and properly priced products with labels and tags; items priced according to association pricing strategy.

You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience; post-secondary general business education an asset
Youre able to work unsupervised, plan and organize your own work and the work of others

You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
Strong computer and technical background, including effective working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email is required
Knowledge of sporting goods (Hunting + Fishing), tackle, ammunition, firearms, and general supplies is preferred
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, paint, lawn / garden equipment and builders hardware is an asset
