JDS Building Supply Ltd. is a Saskatoon based building material supplier with a focus on exterior finishes including stucco, stone, siding, and other related materials. This position has a focus on outside sales, however the successful applicant will be expected to perform other general office and warehouse duties as required. Compensation is on a salary + commission basis with additional incentives being provided.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a rewarding career with a small company. This position will require someone who is highly personable and can work independently and as part of a team utilizing skills associated with sales, warehousing, project management, and marketing.
The successful candidate will be a critical part of the team at JDS and contribute to the ongoing success of the company. The position will require travelling to perform sales in various locations throughout Saskatchewan. Sales experience is a requirement but does not have to be industry specific.
Essential Skills:
-Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite, & CRM Software
-Ability to cold call and initiate new client relationships
-Positive attitude, highly motivated, and customer service oriented
-Strong business sense
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
Some Responsibilities Are:
-Assist with sales to new and existing clients
-Implement digital marketing programs
-Implement new products
-Assist with warehouse management, organizing, and loading clients
-Working tradeshows
-Travelling with Saskatchewan
-Cold Calling
