Description

The Metis Nation  Saskatchewan Citizenship Registry is rapidly growing. With the central Citizenship office in Saskatoon and 10 offices across the province the Registry is working with over 1500 people each month to assist them in obtaining their Metis Citizenship in Saskatchewan. All staff receive specialized training on the application process, genealogical and historical research. The Registry office is looking for people to join our team, qualifications needed are as follow:
Minimum 12 consecutive months experience in an office setting, Post secondary education in business administration or a related field
Able to provide a clean criminal record check
Proficient in Microsoft office including Word, Excel and Outlook
Able to use and file digital and paper records
Excellent organizational skills, willingness to learn and try new areas
Able to assist applications in person, on the phone or by email
The ability to follow instructions, and pay close attention to details
Able to work with numbers, and comfortable with basic arithmetic
Ability to read cursive writing, able to perform data entry

The available positions at MN-S are:
Data Entry: Entering information into a specialized database, scanning and creating digital records. 90% of day spent working independently at a computer.
Intake Clerk: Greeting and assisting clients with filling out applications. Taking photos and copies of documents, data entry, research, and issuing letters. Travel out of town may be required.
Status Update Clerk: Follow-up with clients by phone or email. Taking photos and copies of documents, data entry, research, and issuing letters.
Administrative Assistant: Supporting the senior staff with the over all registry and operational needs. Data entry, creating documents, letters, reports, tracking financial and/or statistical information. Scheduling meeting and taking minutes. General office work. Travel out of town may be required.
