Description

Glenwood RV Centre is looking for an RV tech to join our team. No RV experience is necessary, we will provide on the job training as necessary. The correct candidate can be signed up under the RV Technician apprenticeship program to continue education towards becoming a Journeyman.

Job Description:

- Applies troubleshooting techniques and determine proper repair procedures

- Perform tasks with minimal supervision

- Maintain a safe and tidy work area

- Perform pre-delivery inspections and customer walk-throughs

- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Skill set, Education and Experience:

- General experience as a handyperson

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment where customer satisfaction is the highest priority

- Enthusiastic, excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail

- Demonstrated ability to build and be a part of a team-oriented environment

- Basic math skills

- Familiar with reading and interpreting diagrams

- Hands on experience in RV preventative maintenance, carpentry, propane systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, air conditioning, refrigerators, heating systems, water systems and slide-outs will be considered an asset but not necessary

- Automotive mechanical knowledge is an asset

This is a permanent Monday to Friday position from 8:30-5:00 daily. Some Saturday's may be required during peak season. Work is physically demanding requiring repetitive tasks, bending, kneeling, crouching and standing for extended periods of time.
