Evraz Place is a 100-acre property that hosts the majority of Reginas major events every year, and serves as an important anchor within the tourism industry  provincially, nationally and internationally.

OVERVIEW
The Payroll Administrator serves as the first point of contact for all REAL staff (in scope and out of scope) to provide information, answer payroll and benefit inquiries and resolve automated time and attendance and payroll issues.  This position is responsible for: preparing and processing biweekly payroll for unionized hourly employees and out of scope salaried employees; ensuring payments are made in accordance with legislation, union agreements and policies; managing employee enrollment in and deductions for benefit plans; preparing third party payroll remittances; generating, reviewing, and reconciling payroll reports; maintaining staffing information and files (both electronic and hard copy); maintaining sound and transparent processes for auditing purposes; identifying efficiencies and record processes and procedures; and maintaining strict confidentiality.

We are looking for applicants that have the following:
Canadian Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification is required
Minimum post-secondary payroll and computer courses (Microsoft Applications, automated payroll and time & attendance systems) along with completed secondary school diploma
Minimum of three (3) years experience in a computerized payroll environment
Experience in a unionized environment
Experience in the use of advanced functions of computers including:  Windows based software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel and Outlook
