Are you ready to take your Human Resource career to the next level? Are you a great communicator who has outstanding people skills and can build strong relationships? Do you have initiative and can support others to model the corporate values? Be the HR Generalist for Weyburn Credit Union.
The HR Generalist is a key player in implementing human resource (HR) strategies. This position is part of the Weyburn Credit Union HR Department, and is based at the companys head office in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the VP of HR, and working with the HR team, this position will deliver and support HR programs. The HR Generalist will support the implementation of the new corporate culture and will foster a workplace that is consistent with the values and mission of the Weyburn Credit Union.
The ideal HR Generalist must have a related degree and a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a HR role with demonstrated experience in areas of labor standards, recruiting and performance management. The HR Generalist must demonstrate and model the corporate culture in their behaviours. The ideal candidate is a true people person who can build relationships and trust with management and staff alike. They have to have a high level of communication and initiative in delivering information appropriately. A working knowledge of the banking industry and/or CPHR designation is an asset. Experience with training and coaching is an asset. Experience supporting people through change, strong communication skills, collaborative style, and preference for working in a team is an asset.
