Applications are invited for a permanent School Bus Driver in the Kipling area commencing January 6, 2020.  Full time bus routes are paid at a daily base rate of $48.40 plus a per km rate calculated at $.180/km, the approximate mileage for this route is 80 kms (paid at the minimum of 90 kms) and takes approximately 1.5 hours per day.

The preferred applicant will possess school bus driving experience, demonstrate safe driving practices, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.  However, training is available for non-licensed school bus drivers.  Drivers may take their young children on the bus with them.Student Safety is of the utmost importance to us, and therefore the successful candidate will possess a clean Drivers Abstract, with no major infractions.  A current Drivers Abstract from SGI detailing all (personal and commercial) driving records for the last 5 years must be submitted with your application to be considered as an eligible candidate. It is an expectation that the successful candidate will obtain First Aid certificate. Prairie Valley will cover the cost of the training.
