Description

NorthSask Special Needs Inc.(NSN) is currently seeking an enthusiastic & dependable clerk to join our growing organization, where you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our accounts payable and/or accounts receivable process, payroll, vendor activity and other sundry duties within the fiscal budgets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-generating accounts payable & processing cheques/EFT and wire remittances
-matching invoices to receiving documents and approvals
-researching customer/vendor statements & identifying/resolving discrepancies
-posting invoices into computer system
-processing vendor credits
-preparing month-end accruals
-completing month-end close including all internal/external transactions
-processing expense reports for employees, ensuring compliance with company policy.
-understanding of general office practices and procedures
-good organizational, mathematical, problem-solving and analytical skills
-ability to function effectively in a team environment and prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines
-Preparing month and year-end journal entries, bank reconciliations, and sales tax returns to meet respective deadlines
-Preparing and scheduling all internal and external financial reporting
-Dealing with matters pertaining to external accountants and government agencies
-Acting as chief liaison for internal/external audits.
