Gateway Co-operative Association Ltd. invites applications for the position of meat associate to join our team at our Food Store in Canora, SK. Hours schedule will vary from week to week, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for providing exceptional customer service.
- Answer or direct all customer inquiries. Assist customers with selection and possible cooking suggestions.
- Package, wrap and label products as directed. Operate wrappers, scales and printers.
- Responsible for stock rotation and pricing. Receive and verifying incoming orders.
- Promote all ins-store services. Fill specific customer orders and requests.
- Adhere to strict cleaning schedule ensuring high level of cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and energetic personality.
- Willingness to advance knowledge through training
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
- A desire and ability to work with the public
- Ability to work independently and also in a team setting
- Physically able to do heavy lifting of 27 kg. (60 lbs), climbing and kneeling
- Willing to work all shifts scheduled including evenings, weekends and days.
