Description

Administration
    Maintain accurate attendance records and update HiMama app
    Complete daily reports on HiMama for your assigned age group
    Maintain accurate accident, health, and injury reports
    Practice fire drills monthly
    Have daily program planning complete in advance and posted for Director to see
    For scheduled days off, find appropriate substitution if necessary and have day plans complete
    Communicate effectively with Director

Program/Child Development
    Implementation of a developmentally appropriate program
    Implementation of an inclusive environment and program
    Provide a safe environment
    Facilitate rest and sleep
    Assist with preparation and serving of snacks and meals
    Organized, prompt, punctual
    Acts as a role model for children at all times

Maintenance
    Complete daily/shift cleaning duties
    Complete extra weekly and monthly cleaning tasks
    Contribute to the general cleanliness of the facility
    Responsible for their groups activities and clean up of those activities

Family Support
    Maintain constant, positive communication with parents
    Encourage parent involvement
    Assist in drop off and pick up routine
    Address parent concerns in a timely manner
    Respect the differences of each family

Professional and Community Involvement
    Encouraged to continue ECE training
    Attend seminars, workshops, and conferences
    Model professional and responsible behaviour at all times
    Adhere to the centers dress code
    Provide guidance and leadership to new staff and families
    Attend all staff meetings and contribute to discussions
    Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to the center, families, and staff
    Provide/willing to obtain first aid and CPR certification
