Description

Vendasta is seeking an innovative Instructional Designer to develop and maintain training content for our Learning Management System (LMS).

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Training Manager and various subject matter experts across the organization to develop and design custom eLearning courses while providing innovative approaches to learning.
Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.
Manage and prioritize multiple learning projects with flexibility to meet tight deadlines.
Channel the use of product marketing to translate strategies into strong content.
Continually maintaining the course library to ensure content is up-to-date and relevant.  
Embrace Vendastas core values and embody these through the course content.

Requirements
3+ years experience in eLearning-based instructional design (preference given to that in software/technology sector).
Experience with SCORM authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline).
Graphic design, audio-video production, and photo editing experience is a strong asset.
An eye for typography, composition, and colour, all with a high attention to detail.
Proficient in various training methodologies and techniques, as well as curriculum development, for a wide variety of roles and required skill sets.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present to and engage with large groups of employees, Executives, and organizational leaders.
Strong organizational, planning, project management, and problem resolution skills.
Ability to facilitate and coordinate a number of duties at once and prioritize effectively.
Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, while balancing competing demands.
