Description

Full-time position available for a 6 month contract, with the possibility to be a permanent position. Shifts range from 6-8 hour during the week with possibility of Saturday hours, depending on the activities.

Qualifications
The individual must be compassionate and patient with residents and staff, and enjoy interacting with older adults. The individual must possess good oral and written communication skills that will be utilized with coworkers and residents of the community. The individual will successfully be able to meet deadlines and have the ability to multi-task, troubleshoot, work well under pressure, and generate positive PR for Trinity Manor at Westerra and the Life Enhancement Department at all times. The individual must successfully be able to navigate and operate Microsoft Office Suite applications, Drop Box and the internet, as well as Apple and Android. The individual must have good administration skills with the ability to coordinate and maintain a weekly schedule. With proper training provided, this individual must be able to led and instruct the residents in daily fitness activities, this includes aquatic activities.

Other requirements include
- A clean criminal record check with a vulnerable sector search.
- Must possess or be able to obtain Standard First Aid/CPR C certification
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 25lbs

Duties & Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Director of Life Enhancement you will provide the following services:
- Leading activities, teaching classes, facilitating events and outings
- Administrative tasks such as updating and advertising the Life Enhancement weekly schedule
- Assist with keeping activity areas neat and tidy
- Organizing and maintaining Life Enhancement inventory
- A variety of daily duties to keep the work space functional
Reporting incidents and any feedback to the Director.
