Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electrical Instrumentation Technologist will assist with the repair and troubleshooting of Electrical / Electronic operating systems. As well, they will assist in the upgrading and installation of new equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
-Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, and other electrical components
-Test electrical and electronic equipment and components to determine viability for operational status
-Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices
-Write, interpret and troubleshoot Siemens programming hardware and software
-Write, interpret and troubleshoot Allan Bradley programming hardware and software
-Write, interpret and troubleshoot Safety PLC programming hardware and software
-Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
-Any other duties assigned by Management

Qualifications:
-Diploma in Electrical Instrumentation/Engineering Technology from an accredited Canadian institution
-Minimum 5 years experience working in an industrial plant
-Experience installing, servicing and maintaining Safety PLC, Siemens and Allan Bradley programming
