Description

Reporting to the Asset Protection Manager, the Maintenance Clerk will be responsible for performing general building and property maintenance.  On a daily basis, the Maintenance Clerk can assess priorities and schedule time to complete the critical tasks within reasonable timelines, and schedule and complete the lower priority items accordingly. This position requires minimal supervision in the general day-to-day duties; however, concerns or complex decisions are reviewed with the Asset Protection Manager.

Co-op invites applications for the position of Facilities Maintenance Clerk at Prairie North Co-op located in Naicam, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities for this position include the following:
-Maintaining the HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems in the Association facilities
-Maintaining electrical, plumbing and other mechanical systems in the Association facilities
-Planning and coordinating day to day activities of the maintenance function, including supervising of other team members assigned to work with maintenance (if applicable)
-Maintain and preserve Prairie North Co-op grounds, including coordination of landscaping, snow removal, parking lot sweeping, grass cutting, weed control in each location as assigned
-Perform highly diversified duties which may include but are not limited to the following: install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facilities, rolling stock, equipment and other assets according to safety and according to predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the Associations Mission, Brand, business goals and objectives

-24/7 availability may be required
-Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
-Travel will be required
-Ability to work outdoors
