Description

The Housekeeping is responsible for the overall operation of the housekeeping duties with the highest degree of quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage daily activities of housekeeping including: emptying garbage throughout the facility, washing and replacing bath mats, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping stairs
Manage weekly activities of housekeeping including: sweeping and mopping hallways and main area floors, cleaning offices, dusting all surfaces
Clean inside and outside of main floor windows in spring and fall
Procurement of budgeted cleaning supplies and inventory (i.e. bedding/towels)
Plan, organize, schedule and direct h
Communicates all maintenance requirements with Managing Director
Clean bedrooms between intakes including dusting, floors, changing bedding and doing laundry
Strictly adhere to confidentiality protocols  
Other tasks as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous cleaning experience an asset
Self directed and able to work independently
Highly organized
Ability to maintain a budget
Strong communication skills
Proven reliability
Attention to detail
Flexible to work shift work
Strong time management skills
Honest and trustworthy
