Position and Responsibilities

Camecos business technology services (BTS) department provides vital services to world-wide operations utilizing a variety of technologies to support key operations. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working team-player to join the applications team to administer and support various business capabilities. This is a great opportunity to develop skills in a high demand technology, as well as to interact with the plant operations and understand their needs in order to provide innovative solutions.

You will work within a team of technical experts to understand the abilities of the applications and optimise their use and integration with SCADA systems. Your main area of responsibility will be advancing new technologies and solutions to enable the digital transformation initiatives of the organization. You will translate business needs to technical solutions while applying best practices in IT security, governance and change management. Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:
    Bachelors degree in computer science
    Five to seven years of applicable work experience
    Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
    Strong business acumen and demonstrated leadership skills
    An aptitude for maintaining and troubleshooting technology and computer applications
    Excellent communication and customer service skills
Assets:
    Experience with design and delivery of integrating SCADA systems and business applications
    Proficiency with installation configuration and lifecycle management of the full OSI Soft PI product suite
    Knowledge of integration tools (ETL, SAP MII etc.)
    SQL certification
