Description

The File Hills QuAppelle Tribal Council is a non-profit organization that provides a range of programs and services to 11 First Nations throughout Southern Saskatchewan within the Treaty Four Territory.  The position will work as part of the First Nations Health Services (FHNS) team, based at the All Nations Healing Hospital located in Fort QuAppelle, SK.

Reporting to the Executive Director of All Nations Healing Hospital (ANHH) & First Nations Health Services, this position will provide technical support for daily IT operations for FNHS, and ANHH.

Responsibilities:
    Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair computer systems, hardware and peripherals
    Administration of all email accounts
    Assist with dministration of FNHS network
    Assist in planning for computer related projects
    Define and implement standards for IT
    Provide technical advice to staff and provide training as required

Qualifications:
    Diploma or certificate in Information Technology, A+ Certification an asset
    Two years experience in an IT related field
    Exceptional  knowledge of operating systems, hardware and software
    Exceptional knowledge of networking equipment and cabling
    Exceptional  interpersonal and public relations skills
    Exceptional oral and written communication skills
    Ability to train, mentor and instruct others in the operation of technical equipment
    Ability to work cooperatively with health professionals and the general public
    Ability to plan and deliver education and training programs
    Ability to work in a team setting and be self-motivated;
    Ability to transfer, lift and reposition equipment up to 50 lbs
    Knowledge of First Nations culture and traditions is an asset
    Must possess a strong work ethic
    Must possess a valid drivers license and own vehicle.
