Description

What youll do:

You will oversee all accounting related transactions for Terra Grain Fuels which includes the entry of information into accounting and maintenance systems, reconciling month-end entries, producing and uploading payments, and addressing any accounts payable/receivable inquires.  You will also implement and support HR practices for the facility.

You will review and approve all financial transactions produced through accounting software.
You will be responsible to enter information into the accounting and maintenance software (contracts, profiles, journal entries, payments).
You will produce, input and reconcile month-end entries including analysis and corrections as required.
You will calculate HR information and administration of CannAmm, Manulife, London Life and Ceridian.
You will implement and support HR practices including reviewing and updating employee policies, providing support for talent attraction and selection, onboarding talent and resolving employee relations issues.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:

You have a Bachelors Degree in Commerce/Business with a major in Accounting.
You have a minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in high level accounting and finance practices preferably in a manufacturing environment. HR related experience is considered to be an asset (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
