The Living Skies Housing Authority is searching for a talented senior leader as its General Manager to help achieve the mandate of providing training and support to over 270 local housing authorities in SK for programs and services, technical, operational, accounting, and various other initiatives on behalf of the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation (SHC) that provides safe and secure housing to seniors, families, and others, who are unable to access adequate and affordable housing.

This senior leadership role reports to a Board of Directors and leads an experienced senior management team and staff of 50 across the province to ensure the organization is positioned to be proactive and responsive to the social and economic trends impacting housing in our province.

To achieve the mandate, you have a keen interest in improving the lives of people in SK.  You are skilled at strategic planning, policy development, project management, finance, operations, and you have an inherent ability to develop and foster strong working relationships with your team, volunteer boards, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

Your communication skills are top notch, you have led senior management teams, and have successfully implemented various change initiatives in previous organizations.  Our preferred candidate comes with a business, social sciences, or related degree supported with 10 years of senior management experience reporting to a Board, preferably in community development, not for profit, social housing, public sector, or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of transferable skills and education will be considered.  Based in Regina, you will need the ability to travel and work irregular hours as required.  In return, we have an excellent compensation, pension and benefits package along with work-life balance!  If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you!
