The Moose Jaw Multicultural Council is seeking an enthusiastic individual to teach conversational Spanish lessons to a class of 10-15 students (mainly adults and/or youth aged 13-17). Classes would run for 12 weeks, once a week for 2 hours/evening once or twice a year (with the possibility of growth). The Spanish Instructor will help students communicate and understand the Spanish language by using techniques such as role-playing, dialogue, language games, literature, film, and other exercises. They will encourage students to practice what theyve learned and assist them in accurately listening and speaking Spanish.
The successful candidate must be fluent in both Spanish and English and have relevant experience with researching teaching materials, lesson planning, and teaching/facilitating groups of people.
