Job Description: Reporting to the Regional Manager of Therapies, the Psychologist Masters provides clinical and consultative support as part of an interdisciplinary pediatric team. The Psychologist provides developmental assessments, diagnoses, consultation, an intervention for children aged 0 to school entry for the Prince Albert and area.

Required Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Developmental, Clinical, or Educational Psychology.
Full practicing member of the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists with Authorized Practice Endorsements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The Psychologist will demonstrate an excellent ability to communicate effectively, building and maintaining rapport with colleagues, parents, and specifically with infants and pre-school aged children.
Will develop trust and respect in interdisciplinary relationships with colleagues.
Demonstrate understanding of assessment and evaluation which will lead to a practical plan of action.
Knowledge of diagnostic classifications used in diagnoses of the population served and able to provide clinical diagnosis when appropriate.
Knowledge of a variety of appropriate intervention methods.
The ability to manage a demanding and robust caseload independently or within the context of a medical team.
Knowledge and skill in use of computer technology fir data management and statistics.
Will require a valid Driver's License.
Successful applicant must provide a satisfactory valid criminal record check including vulnerable sector query before an offer of employment is made.

96 hours of work in a 3 week rotation (8 hour shifts). Shifts (days, evening, nights) including actual hours, date of commencement and temporary end dates are for informational purpose only and may be subject to change.
