The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of the Program Coordinator. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position is responsible to facilitate all program requirements of the In Home Support Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with members of the SFFA Management Team to achieve the objective of the In-Home Support Program.
Coordinate and manage all components of the In-Home Support Program.
Coordinate and manage all components of the In-Home Support Program throughout the province
Responsible for recruiting and hiring In-Home Support Workers; ensure compliance with all criminal record checks (incl. vulnerable persons) and other mandatory requirements for the program
Place Support Workers based on skills assessments with appropriate foster families to provide support services
Coordinate In-Home Support employees schedules, track and monitor hours, collect time sheets, and prepare time sheet reports
Develop community partnerships to support program delivery and employee recruitment.
Assist with preparation and presentation of quarterly reports, data collection, and Annual Reports related to program delivery
Travel throughout the province to fulfill the ongoing support to families
ADMINISTRATION:
Ensure that up-to-date and accurate information is maintained on the Saskatchewan Foster Families CRM of Ministry of Social Services and Foster Home contacts
Monitor and respond to inquiries relating to In Home Support
Provide written reports as requested
Gather and formulate semi-monthly, monthly and quarterly stats for the In Home Support Program
Monitor and assess the needs required in supporting Foster Families in caring for the children placed in their care
This is a full-time Monday to Friday position that requires occasional evening and/or weekend work. Benefits include enrollment in our Group Benefits and Pension Plan.
